Local Freestyle Ski Club Receives $37,200 Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant

Calabogie, ON – Calabogie Freestyle club is the recipient of the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant of $37,200. This grant will provide the club with enormous growth opportunity to help enhanced access to freestyle skiing programs in the Ottawa Valley.

The grant will fund a project throughout 2022-2023 to give people in the community improved access to quality ski programs for youth of all levels. Calabogie Freestyle is a freestyle skiing club operating out of Calabogie Peaks that offers programs for athletes between six to18 years old.

The OTF is an agency of the Government of Ontario, and one of Canada’s leading granting foundations. Last year, nearly $112M was invested into 1,384 community projects and partnerships to build healthy and vibrant communities and strengthen the impact of Ontario’s non-profit sector. In 2020-2021, OTF supported Ontario’s economic recovery by helping non-profit organizations rebuild and recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
